Hopscotching Around Europe

Where am I now? Maastricht, the Netherlands for three days visiting with Philippe his girlfriend Tamara, mom Paula, aunt Betty and uncle Jos. Eating, drinking, biking, eating more, drinking more, biking more. Favorite thing feeling loved.

Before that? Brussles, Belgium for almost a day, wandered around with Greta a friend I made in Zimbabwe last year. Favorite sighting Manneken-Pis.

Before that? Cagnes sur Mer outside of Nice, France for almost a day staying with Mackenzie Daggett and Oskar. Favorite sensation sitting in the park with my feet in the grass.

Before that? Imperia, Italy for a couple hours after a yatch ride from Monaco. Favorite moment lunch with Mac on the boat before walking to the train station to take a train back to Monaco.

Before that? Monaco (Monte Carlo) four days of great weather, glitzy people and evening networking at a conference for high rollers throwing parties at places like Hotel de Paris and the Hermitage. Favorite sighting the full moon rising up out of the Mediterrainian while swimming at sunset.

Before that? London, England for five days. Favorite ritual the daily cafe trip for cappacino.

Before that? One day in Amsterdam. Favorite moment morning rush hour dodging thousands of bicyclists. Love it!

Hi Natalie! sounds like you're living the high life, dining and schmoozing with celebrity sounding people and bouncing all over Europe. My life seems tame and bland in comparison. But it's lively enough for me here in beautiful Oregon. 2 weeks in Central Oregon this summer with grandkids and their parents... surprising Terry Daggett at her birthday party(She screamed when she saw us). A spur of the moment trip to the coast yesterday, just Roger and me. The weather was gorgeous - warm, sunny, very little wind - was like a mini honeymoon.
Garden's doing great, more squash than we know what to do with. Made lots of fig jam. Freezer's full of stuff. Life is good, God is awesome! Enjoy your trip.
Love, Aunt Sandy
