Do You Have Fun with Your Family?

I've been thinking about what families do when they spend time together. Do they know how to have fun? Is it healthy fun for the body, mind and heart or is it the old fashioned boozing it up fun? While there was plenty of the later in my universe, I'm thankful for the healthy things we did in my family to have fun: take walks on the beach or in the forest, cook and eat good food, go out to a movie, feed the cattle, ride around the ranch on 4-wheelers, go swimming, play music, laugh and tell stories of adventures we had as kids. Around the holiday's a lot of people moan about spending time with their family. Sure there are always plenty of old disappointments and disagreements never resolved among family. But maybe if we learned to do something fun together as adults it can help heal that.
